I have been working at Acosta

    Pros

In this economy any job is a good job. Acosta does give generous vacation and personal day time-off.

    Cons

Acosta is a very large company and distinguishing yourself from the masses is difficult to do.  It is also, I believe, a rather inflexible organization. The company has begun to pass on some of the costs of doing business to its employees rather than to its customers. Acosta's health benefits are on the stingy side and their payroll processes are out-dated.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

If you choose to grow this company by acquiring other companies, please recognize that some of those companies have policies and processes that make sense for their business model.  Cramming those businesses into your company's culture is not always going to work.
