    Pros

If you like Drupal, Acquia's the place to be. It has many of the biggest contributors hanging around the office. Everybody's very smart, very talented. The company's doing well financially, so the mood is positive.

    Cons

I hate to say it, but looking at founder Dries, open source prodigy, and CEO Tom, hard nosed businessman, I think of Anakin Skywalker and Emperor Palpatine. (I know he reads all these, so Tom, I mean that in the nicest possible way.) For better or worse, as the company moves toward the IPO, Acquia's becoming more corporate, and investors can be a dark influence.

    Advice to Management

Stop trying to preserve a startup culture - it's a futile task and doesn't scale.
