    Disapproves of CEO

    Pros

Exciting environment, very talented people, inspiring founder, incredibly hard working employees.

    Cons

CEO continues to promote/protect executives that the company has long out-grown. Doesn't seem to be a culture of accountability. More interested in protecting "friends and family". Currently we talk a lot about "directly responsible individual", which is a joke since execs aren't even hitting their goals, yet they are getting inflated titles.

    Advice to Management

Make the hard choices. Get the right people on the bus. Make sure everyone on the bus is contributing. That is what leadership is all about. The company could probably let go 50 non-performers without even missing a beat. Stop promoting people that aren't competent at their current job. Think about it because so many people's future depends upon the decisions that you make. It is not just about you.
