    I have been working at ActivEngage full-time for more than a year


    Some sweet little gym perk, and standard benefits.


    The cons at this place are endless, it's a company built from the auto-industry. The auto industry is filled with nothing but brown nosers and pathological liars. The same thing is here. There is a nucleus of controlled people that will do anything for 35k a year, but I guess you need those people in this world.

    They claim that they are "growing" yet there is a revolving door at both locations in Maitland and Henderson. Employees are coming and going. The truth is, this isn't a career, yet they will tell you it is by showing the ones that made the cut. In all honesty, it's a temporary job that has an average life span about a year and a quarter.

    Don't be sold by the pitch, they will sell you just like a greasy salesman with the pitch of 2 free lunches, a gym and benefits.

    They will start you out as a trainee, fill you with the hypocritical stuff from the training staff, by the way, they are awesome. From there on, the management is just crap because the higher is horrible and attitude trickles down to the controlled employee, which they than try to act like her, and than end of stumbling upon their words because they are becoming something they are not. You can hear the unhappiness in their voices and know they are just "satisfied" in this job. Some don't understand they are making money for the company and would rather be controlled and unhappy. There is no passion here because the leader isn't passionate. It's all a con and mask.

    Anyways, from training, you'll be put into a cell block where you learn to take a chat, which they say "be yourself" by having a conversation, which is misconstrued. Then you learn take ONE chat for one week, then two weeks you are expected to take two and with in three weeks, you take three. Along this way, you will find the TLs and management staff is filled with con artists and liars. I might misinterpret this, because this can all be funneled by the queen bee, but the working bees, are that, just bees.

    About 6-9 months you'll be second guessing yourself after your written up from the filthy log that is filled with fictitious stories and AGAIN more lies because the management would rather cover their butt, instead of helping in a proper way.

    After the 9 months, you've had, and you'll be like that GlassDoor poster was right. Or maybe you'll just know that 12 months is right around the corner and you'll hope to get your delayed raise.

    Don't settle for less than you are for a mere $15. You are better than that and do what you love.

    I'm not a bitter employee, as I QUIT the job for the better. I'm being true and honest in my words.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Senior Management is horrible and they treat their fellow employees as little rats. The old saying goes, "money is root of all evil." The management is filled with cons and deceptive liars.
