    I worked at Adventist Health System full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

    Focused on hiring quality people in the corporate office. Management has relevant quality experience to guide the organization. Great work environment but you should expect to work hard which I consider a pro. This helps make it a great company with a solid future. The company promotes from within for the most part, so expect to move up if you work hard.

    Cons

    Formal training opportunities are somewhat limited. It would be helpful if the corporate office provided formal training/guidance to the hospital finance/accounting employees. It can be challenging to recruit talented employees to work at some of the rural hospitals within the company.
