    I worked at Aerotek full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

    Working in the corporate office can be a decent job right out of college. The pay is fairly low but if you take your job seriously you'll really drill home the importance of attention to detail and completing your tasks in a timely manner that will help set you up for your next endeavor.

    Cons

    There aren't a lot of career paths in this company when you start as a BOA and you're not moving up unless you're part of the clique. If you haven't made friends with the right people within 6 months you'll want to resign yourself to the fact that you won't be furthering your career unless you go elsewhere.Aerotek ends up losing quite a few good people because of these issues with career advancement. In addition, you're micromanaged. When you first start it doesn't seem like much but once you start to show you know what you're doing the rules and policies in place make less and less sense. Unfortunately that micro-management tends to lead to a lot of work being made up by dishonest employees afraid they won't get their full bonus.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    You do a great job training your employees but take a look at how you can better identify promising employees and move them into roles that take advantage of the skills they have developed (that might not be the career path you have in mind for this position). Also, the micro-management helps train your employees but at some point you need to allow your employees to do what they get paid to do.
