    Pros

Good first job, especially if you are interested in Sales. Good exposure to the business world and you are given the opportunity to take on some real responsibility at an early stage in your career. Generally hire the same type of person, so people get along.

    Cons

Prepared to micromanaged. If you are lucky enough to be managed by a Senior Account Manager, you will be better off. Chances are, you'll be managed by someone who has never been a manager in the past. If you are not interested in Sales and would prefer to stay in recruiting, you will have someone who recruited for a shorter amount of time than you telling you how to recruit. They encourage you to be friends with everyone in the office- particularly your manager and division leaders- so you feel guilty if you let them down. Long hours (to be expected of first job), but tough to leave work at home.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Make things better for long time recruiters. Have higher standards for hiring besides " I want sales."
