Great place to be if you have a passion for working with children and their families. The benefits are good, the pay is comparable.

The child development center is a good old boy system. The director, flight chief and assistant director are down right horrible and abusive to their early childhood teachers. They play favors to certain employees and treat others disrespectful and rude. The director talks trash about employees, forces her staff to rotate schedules (but says she is unable to do that as it is hard on her family), and hires only her personal friends for classroom lead promotions. She will purposely leave staff members over ratio and then laugh at them on camera as they struggle to care for all the children's needs. Management punishes you for any medical or emergency leave you take and does not honor or support military spouses that are employed at the center. This has been on going for a few years now. Over 45 high quality early childhood caregivers have stopped working at the center due to the poor working conditions. Exit interviews are swept under the rug and chain of command is a broken process.
