I worked at Airlines Reporting Corporation

    Pros

Work/life balance, option to telework 1 or 2 days per week (depending on your department), unlimited vacation, no dress code, some great people.

    Cons

There is very, very little room for advancement or career growth. The favoritism is blatant - if you don't happen to have an Executive team member who really likes you, then hard work won't get you anywhere. (Those who do happen to be a favorite of one of the higher ups can barely do their job and still get ahead.) There seems to be a preference towards the very attractive, the flirty, and/or those who make the company more diverse. If you are someone who has good values, the dishonesty and unethical behavior that is all around you at ARC will eat away at your soul.

Some take the “No Dress Code” thing too far (if you want to dress like you are going to the club or working the corner - that’s acceptable at ARC). Although some may enjoy looking at the exposed cleavage and super tight clothing – it just adds to the lack of professionalism that is all around the office.

The company is also trying to do too much with too few resources, and there are way too many meetings that make management inaccessible.

A lot of really great, hardworking, smart people have left ARC in the last year or so, and it's unfortunate that leadership let that happen.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Open your eyes and realize that you are not running the company in accordance with the core values that you've established.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
    Disapproves of CEO
