    Pros

Akshay Patra is working towards good cause. Genuine cause. That is the only reason an employee should and 'CAN' get attached to the organization.

    Cons

The management in Akshaya Patra believes in money and only money. And the money is not respected.
The hierarchy of the organization is not clear and not respected!
People are recruited without any proper planning which will end up in job dissatisfaction.
Management will not address the problem of the employee and they dont mind to make employee sit jobless still pay the luxury salary. Reason: Huge funds in the organization and so spent lavishly.
Department heads are not clear about what their role is and spoil the work culture interfering in responsibilities the other departments heads do..

In NGOs, it should be always like WE and in Akshaya Patra, it is ME. People stamp each other for extra attention and to be in limelight which will motivate employees to throw the resignations in the short span of their tenure!

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Be professionals

System is made to follow. Mind it.

Respect employees. They are not stray dogs waiting for the biscuits you throw end of the month.

Before you plan to recruit, think ten times and understand whether you are bringing them to grow your organization or spoil their career.

Just one person cannot do anything! You need to have team and so treat people equal.

Always listen to two sides of the story before you make a decision.

Identify the 'people management' skill in candidates you appoint for bigger position of the organization.

BRING PEOPLE WHO WANT TO GROW WITH THEIR TEAMS IN THE ORGANIZATION AND NOT THE ATTENTION AND OPPORTUNITY GRABBERS..

AND ALWAYS REMEMBER, PEOPLE COME TO WORK WITH YOU NOT TO SERVE YOU BUT TO SERVE THE ORGANIZATION.

YOU BE THE CHANGE YOU WANT TO BE! Unless you are not serious about your cause, about the growth of your organization, your employers cannot!

DONT WASTE MONEY you have been getting in the name of the cause... It is Children's money and let that remain theirs..
