    I have been working at Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    - Great work environment (I'm non-medical) - Average pay; great benefits - Some opportunity for movement internally

    Cons

    - Young organization with many flaws in basic processes - Hard to instigate internal collaboration without proper connections - Everything takes longer here

    Advice to Management

    An orientation to proper communication etiquette would be helpful. Basics like: - To: include people on correspondence that pertains to them and from whom you need a response; - CC: people who need to be informed, but no response necessary; - ANY response is better than no response (some people simply do NOT respond! This is not professional); - Silence is consensus - if you don't speak up, then you are agreeable. - Out of office messages are a MUST I could go on, but this may just seem nit-picky to some...
