VERY disorganized, hiring the last few years and now cutting staff by 1/3. People tend to leave after 2 years.

I have been working at Allergan full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Some groups have nice bosses. HR puts a good face on things.

    Cons

California based company and not interested in how to do things better. Can be very political and don't expect a team atmosphere, it's dog eat dog. Must be a very seasoned professional who likes politics to make it with this company. Do not depend on HR to give an accurate picture when interviewing. Irvine based employees enjoy a much better atmosphere than people based in other states (CRO atmosphere).

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Top management doesn't seem to know what to do and how to do it. Middle management
is just trying to hang on and watching their backs. Employees are being forced to deal with
vague priorities, unrealistic expectations, poor tools/systems, and old SOPs/WIs.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
    Disapproves of CEO
