I have been working at Alliance Nursing

    Pros

Can reach Nursing Supervisor by phone and if not you get a call back in a timely manner.

    Cons

Takes a long time once hired to go through training process up to 2 -3 weeks and only minimal training is given as far as paperwork is concerned. Once trained with initial client you are required to be trained again with the next client. The pay for training is only $10 an hour. Some clients are temporary while others are permanent. Clients have to agree to let you work for them and they can still tell you to leave without any reason. I was asked to leave a client's home for trying to organize things for the client that would make it easier for all nurses to step in and work efficiently. This leaves the nurse without work with no notice and there may not be another client for the nurse to work for a long period of time if at all. The schedulers are very bad in communicating back with you. You can call every day and leave messages an never get a call back. The supervisor would call you back but not always communicate everything regarding a client, so you were left at times to figure things on your own. Salary is around $18.00 an hour. There are benefits but I was part time and they were expensive. I feel that this company is unprofessional cause you are asked to turn a blinds eye on some of the way the client's family lives. As a nurse we are suppose to report bad condition and I was told not to.If you a an ethical nurse who cares about doing the right thing in general then this is not the place for you.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Follow state guidelines in reporting living conditions ect.....
Make it a priority to get enough office help to ensure Nurses and clients are getting called back
    Better training on paperwork
Better communications with nurses office staff and supervisor
Supervisor should communicate with nurses when they receive a complaint from the client's family and try to resolve issues rather than taking what the client's family says to be true and correct without communicating with the nurse.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
