    I have been working at Amba Research full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

    Great work-life balance and compensation (benefits) is very fair. People are great to work with and office location is central and convenient.

    Cons

    No professional development plans for employees, poor senior management communication, lack of company direction/strategy, incompetent product managers and senior managers. Poor communication from management to employees and lack of company org structure and individual accountability.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Hold managers accountable! Have more transparency with employees - communicate, communicate, communicate. Motivate the employees that are ambitious and desire to outperform. Work on employee retention and better people-servicing (HR function). Company is very defragmented and also lacks culture and a unified mission.
