    I worked at American Diabetes Association full-time (more than 3 years)


    Interaction with passionate staff and volunteers in the field offices across the country.


    Resources budgeted for main office but not for field. No coordination of national campaigns coming to field that causes confusion (telemarketing, direct mail). Field not a source for educating and providing resources to public directly and indirectly impacted by diabetes. Field leadership caught between rock and hard place of talking the party line while consistently being turned down to get financial resources to field

    Recognition of the value the field personnel bring to the overall success of the organization. Provide resources to the field to better cultivate and develop stronger relationships with donors, volunteers, partners and stakeholders. So much potential...
