I worked at American Diabetes Association

Benefits were above-average, vacation was plentiful at 3 weeks from day one. I wish I could offer more pros, but that was what kept me there longer than I needed to be.

Management was confused and incompetent. Micromanaging high. Motivation low. People that worked there were nice but deflated by ridiculous demands & high turnover. Management were not helpful but rather hindered the advancement of very talented people. Competition to do well, but not rewarded. Was embarrassed to work there due to reputation of ED. Creepy, quiet atmosphere. Not really a place that aids the public much but is money-driven. Poorly managed.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I don't think it's worth it to complete this, really. The complaints of this location center around one person and upper management keeps this person cushed to the dismay of employees and volunteers. I think they burn more bridges than they make, sadly.
