I have been working at American Express full-time (more than 3 years)

Excellent training and offers great benefits! After 1 year at a position, you can apply internally for different positions and are very eager to promote within. Great bonus incentives.

Corporate Travel Division has many demands to keep numbers up and if demand for agents change, you are at risk for getting laid off. They hire a third party company to monitor your calls and are constantly under pressure to repeat scripts. Customers get annoyed. Your transactions are scored by customers and they don't realize that the comment cards are for your performance, not the airline, which give you a negative demerit towards bonuses.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Need to be more flexible with customer comment cards on performance.
