Current Employee - Casualty Claims Adjuster in Englewood, CO

I have been working at American Family Insurance full-time for more than 5 years

I began working at Amfam a little less than 8 years ago, and was trained by them in Claims. Overall, they have done a good job at training me, although in some ways I have trained myself. Their office culture is friendly for the most part. Benefits are the best part of the job. Flex schedule, 37.5 hours per week (not counting the OT that you don't get compensated for)

a lot of restructuring in the last 6 years. Closed offices and relocation, and restructured upper management. Nothing seems to stay the same for more than a year before things change again. The most recent transition to specialization caused everyone to become "leveled" with very little opportunity for advancement. I do a lot more in my specific position than a general liability adjuster does, but the compensation doesn't match what I do.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Take a look at what every position does on a daily basis and compensate them fairly. Stop changing the structure of things until you have asked the people that do the jobs if the change is needed or not.
