    I have been working at American Institute Of Physics full-time (More than 10 years)


    I've been working at AIP for over 10 years. They have nice benefits and the former CEO always spoke to employees. There is minimal overtime, which is nice. They have a gym, which is nice to use to exercise after work.


    Promotions (in my dept.) are not given unless you ask for them. It's also possible that they'll sneakily demote you just so that they can promote someone that they like better.

    Advice to Management

    Promote people when they work hard - don't make them ask for something that should be theirs in the first place. Give praise when praise is due, don't sweep good work under the rug as if it doesn't matter.
