I have been working at American Legalnet full-time (More than 3 years)

Each member of the staff is qualified and personable. The product concept is good (it's the execution that's a problem).

The president is not tech savvy (he once asked a tech staff member to "take down" an anonymous Yelp review). He has strange ideas about when a deal is closed and when it's still open to negotiation (I.e., once you contract and pay he will not be delivering because "it's ALL a negotiation") this applies to employees too: bonuses are not likely to be paid even when earned. Because he's not tech savvy, he can not properly supervise or manage the tech staff so the product is constantly defective and the tech staff is under constant turn over. He forced the staff to write a bunch of reviews here to "flush" bad reviews. He hires "success coaches" who you will be required to interact with and they are really just there to inform the president of your true thoughts - for which you will be fired. So you have to lie to the coach - and so nothing can actually improve.

    Advice to Management

President should be transitioned to a shareholder. An actual tech savvy leader with a proven track history needs to step in as president if this company has any chance of reaching its revenue goals and delivering a reliable product.
