Great place to start a new career if you have confidence in your own abilities, & are not afraid to ask questions.

I have been working at Angels of Care Pediatric Home Health full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

Company knows that life happens and they offer great flexibility with individual schedules. PTO off accrues from day one and an employee of the month earns $500 if chosen. Also attractive, the company gives away a car once a year to
an employee who qualify for a drawing. Benefits are okay, office atmosphere is business casual or scrubs, and jeans are allowed daily. Laid back, with work load being either heavy or light at times.

    Cons

You learn "on the job" with generally only one day of orientation and one day of training. The office is only closed 2 holidays a year. There is little room for advancement. Parking space is only adequate.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Consider offering better rates of pay, paid holidays and sick time, not just PTO. Also, more of a training period, along the lines of 3 days. One day is great for people who aren't afraid to sink or swim, but for those who haven't learned to swim yet, one day leaves people feeling overwhelmed. Also, better quality office chairs would be a big benefit for those who are tied to a desk.
