Current Employee - Provider  in  Raleigh, NC
Current Employee - Provider in Raleigh, NC

I have been working at ApolloMD as a contractor for more than a year

Convenient to my situation at present
Schedule allows for young family needs
    Fair compensation
    Pleasant daily coworkers

Poor management at the organizational level
Management does not communicate changes well
Promises made during the hiring process do not come to fruition
Questionable employer practices; hours cut, roles added then eliminated without thought
Uncomfortable with the amount of responsibility is given to mid level providers, increasing liability/anxiety on an already high volume physician workload

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Improve planning process prior to implementing changes.
Improve administrative support to reduce ER v/s MEDICINE conflicts
    Reevaluate provider savings v/s quality
You may see talented professionals looking elsewhere very soon
