non-management team members are great, nice people, hard-workers; company could be so much better because the people in the trenches are really cool, smart, experienced.
Management is not experienced in marketing disciplines only in staffing and the numbers associated with an old model. Had "butts in seats" daily goals shoved down our throats; no consideration to client objectives/needs and how to make them better; management only concerned with how much $$ was being charged and coming in...John Chuang is only interested in how much $$ he can make and not interested in the challenges of the workforce; does not value employees.
Advice to Management
stop stifling the expertise and skills of the diverse workforce you have - listen to them, embrace their ideas, knowledge and abilities to make things better. It's more than just numbers, it's about morale, competitive advantage and culture and you ONLY achieve positive results in those areas from allowing your people to contribute and value their ideas, capabilities and experience.
