I worked at Arapahoe House full-time

    Pros

The experience there was unique and fulfilling overall. As opposed to other places I have worked, I felt like my position was necessary and helpful. It was nice to see positive progression from people you've worked with over time. I worked with a great group of people and under a wonderful, understanding, caring supervisor.

    Cons

The job is extremely mentally taxing. The fact that the pay was low (I've made more at entry-level jobs that require no skill, let alone a degree and certifications) made even the time out of work a stressful struggle. Honestly, if the pay was enough to live somewhat well on, I'd still be there.

    Advice to Management

Quite simply, the pay needs to compete with other jobs that require a degree rather than competing with jobs that require no skill and no experience.
