    I have been working at Arizona Office Technologies full-time (more than 8 years)


    Great executive staff and tons of talent. They have a succession plan that allows for continued growth within the organization. The well-oiled mechanics of this location, afforded us the opportunity to acquire yet another strategically located office in the southwest. Compensation is more than fair. Phenomenal all-inclusive 5-week training investment in our people. The monthly sales recognition meetings are well received and motivating.


    AOT is STILL paying for some of the sins of our fathers before us, but there's great strategic initiatives in place to get us through it. One challenge may be effectively leading Generation Y (Millenials), they understand where this position will take me next -- right now! As a result of this knowledge, we have the resources and revamped the training necessary to be the ultimate player in the valley.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    More positive feedback and regularly. Listen WITH YOUR FULL ATTENTION to demonstrate your commitment to the employee's development (don't read emails, check your phone when you're suppose to be listening). Your reps will occasionally test you (as a manager) to see what they can delegate "upwards”. If you accept this, you will end up taking care of all of their action items and you won’t have the time to do the key elements of your job, such as coaching and development.
