Aspect software and some of it's "root" companies have been around in the contact center industry for over 20 years. We have some of the best "brands" in the world as customers and employees who are long established experts in the needs of our specific customer base.
2 years ago our products were aging and falling behind the latest trends and needs in modern contact centers. Things looked grim. But then, our board appointed an all new executive team to turn the company around.
The new team entered with a fresh passion for the possibilities and got straight to work by hiring some top executive / management talent, completing a company wide assessment and setting long term goals to make Aspect and industry leader once again. They dubbed it our "Transformation" and, almost 2 years in, we see it working every day. We are still on the path to actualizing goals set in place 2 years ago and it is refreshing to have that consistency of direction, to not have priorities change every moment and to see what we are building take shape.
This team, "gets" this business, cares about the customers and values the employees.
As a business Analyst, I am in a unique position to be in the heart of new business process development and rollout to support omni channel support and products in the cloud. It is an exciting time, I am learning a lot and I am excited to be a part of it.
There is a great deal of change going on within the company as we modernize processes and culture. This is welcome by many but will be stressful for others until we reach the new normal.
