I have been working at Aspen Dental full-timeRecommendsPositive OutlookApproves of CEORecommendsPositive OutlookApproves of CEO
I decided to share my story so that others might understand Aspen Dental. I have been working there for almost 6 years now. I started as an Office Manager and have had several promotions to my current role as a Regional Manager. As an employee of Aspen, I help people every day get their smile back. Literally! The people that work at Aspen are terrific, caring, committed, and always looking for ways to make a difference in people's lives. It is an amazing feeling to see someone who has not smiled in years or has been in tremendous pain, be able to say "Thank you for giving me my smile back," usually with tears in their eyes. Do I recommend this company? Only if you want to live a life of significance and giving of yourself for others!
As in any Mission that makes a difference, the commitment is Great! You must be a person of great character and resilience. Our patients have to overcome many barriers and they are not always easy to help as they are in pain and many are afraid. The job can be challenging as even when you are being kind and understanding, breaking down the barriers can be difficult. You have to be someone very patient and kind and want to be giving in order to be truly successful. This is not a job or a career, it is truly a mission and you must be willing to put everything you have in to your work or you will not love it the way I do!
Advice to Management
Continue to recognize those efforts that are going the extra mile. When you need us to help offices that may be struggling for what ever reason, reward the individual office results and not group the results together as a region as one office may take a while to get back on track, especially if all the other offices are doing exceedingly well.
