I have been working at Aspen Dental full-time (less than an year)

affordable health benefits are nice and vacation time. Bonuses are always nice if you can meet the requirements. Clean office

Managers (those directly over you and those who work out of the main office in NY) push for 30 minute adult prophy's in addition to excusing yourself to go see every new patient. Seeing every new pt (who are also non-paying patients) to do full-mouth probing and to speak to him/her about your rec treatment takes a good 8-10 minutes. Once you're finally back in your room there's really no time left to treat the paying patient properly and fairly.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

It seems to go unnoticed that management are not the ones with a license to practice. As a DH and a dentist we must protect our right to practice and we also must do a good job. Pushing the clinical staff who are the ones making all the money for Aspen Dental, to work in less time also means doing a worse job. It's pathetic, really and very backwards.
