Good company to start career as a fresher. Will get to learn many things and have opportunities for smart freshers. Relatively open culture. Good training framework for freshers. Good facility. Good for people who wants to be in comfort zone.
Conservative management. Slow to innovate based on changing market. Lot of politics. People who make noise for change is easily cornered and pushed out. We can see senior people creating groups and stick to that group for any decisions/choices. Not a good choice for onsite opportunities. Salaries are very low and onsite HR department is very bad. Many people moves out of the company after reaching US as it is difficult to sustain with the salary company provides. There are no clear policies for onsite and benefits are not great. Work pressure at onsite is unthinkable.
Advice to Management
Bring senior leadership (VP level) in HR. Recruit one good onsite HR who do some work rather than just talking. Standardize onsite salary and make it par with market. Otherwise, you will lose good people at onsite. Be open to change and invest in people. Politics in SL is stopping good and capable people to grow and contribute to company. Bring more medium/large projects.
