Former Employee - Telephone Operator in Tampa, FL

I worked at Atlas Systems as a contractor for less than a year

    Pros

Simple tasks and equipment is provided at office. Computers and phones are easy enough to use. There is free although limited parking. Water fountain in office. Microwave if you want to bring your food. Sometimes the employees get lunch together, which is fun.

    Cons

They are so cheap they don't even keep the lights on in most rooms. Also the air conditioning is rarely on, and in Florida during the summer, that is actually dangerous. They refuse to acknowledge that their production quotas are impossible for most workers to meet, and this helps them create artificially high turnover. The goal is to make the worker look bad while the company looks good. This creates poor morale and makes things more difficult by the day.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

They really need a total change of staff with more positive, friendly people. Current staff and attitudes are unacceptable and make things difficult for the workers.
