    Pros

    Steady job. Financially stable company. Pension. Friendly employees. Members are valued.

    Cons

    Very old fashioned. Very inflexible. Monitors employees hours and considers any time out of the office as non-work time, even for exempt employees. Tele-commuting not allowed. Not a friendly place for anyone with a need for flexible start times (mothers, those that commute, those with any family etc.) Senior Management is isolated in their own wing, and rarely venture out of it. Consequently, they lack any deep understanding of how the company operates. Annual increases in pay are limited to no more than 2%. 1% is typical, but after 5-7 years, most employees wages decrease compared to inflation.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Introduce yourself to modern management principles and those that have worked in the modern work environment. This is meant as a constructive criticism, it really is.
