    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The "meritocracy" speech is given all the time but a lot of talent is lost due to not being recognized for their hard work and contribution but by the perception of clients. Favoritism is obvious and overlooking not highly-visible employees is a common place. Employees that are not part of the "chosen ones" get the feeling that they are not being valued.

Projects are mostly dull and you get lots of training in technologies that you will most likely never use. Good roles are scarce and most of them are uninteresting or in technologies that you don't specialize on. Building a resume can really be tough due to long bench periods or irrelevant roles.

Leadership has made a lot of effort to be reachable and it is felt, no more than 4 months pass without having a lunch with senior managment. Relocations are possible and their travel policy is top-class good perdiems and lots of expenses are covered. Access to a nice laptop, MSDN subscription and training material is the best part, you can take real advantage of it. The team is rather young, so socializing after work is common and good friendships can be built. Coworkers are reachable and like to help.
