I worked at Avanceon full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

-Good infrastructure to manage company projects and day to day tasks.
-Good place to get basic experience.
    -Good exposure to various industries.

    Cons

-Very strong feeling of nepotism there with obvious lack of upward mobility. If your not in good with the President - forget about it.
    -Terrible managerial feedback and training.
-Archaic financial software and terrible staff management techniques.
    -Penny wise and dollar foolish.
-Iraqi owned and they have their hand in the company's pocket which sucks them dry - company suffering.
-Forced to use Iraqi services to complete technical work.
-Amazing amount of time out on the road required by this company.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Invest in your people and promote a team atmosphere as opposed to making people feel like they have to fight among themselves to get their job done in a timely manner. You're stretched too thin and therefore your people feel the same pinch. This reflects in how your customer is treated by your employees.
