I worked at Avaya full-time (more than a year)

Good people at the mid- and lower levels trying do the right thing.

Executives are a bunch of horse's patoots and the customers know it. Kennedy's all hands employee calls are a joke...bragging about how he "accidentally" spent $25,000 on a cashmere robe for his wife...this from a guy whose company nickels and dimes his employees. Anyhow, the antiquated internal systems waste huge amounts of time and are killing the staff. With all the lay-offs its just getting worse. Living off of run-rate stuff won't last much longer.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Retire. And don't take all the money with you. And stop hiring executives and giving them 6 months to mastermind a "turn-around", then firing them when they can't do it and giving them a bucket of money to leave.
