I have been working at Avaya full-time (more than 3 years)

good products and solutions. frontline technology and some people that are capable of making a lot happen with very little external motivation required. mobility within the company so you don't get bored. variety of jobs and functions to choose from. work/life balance can be achieved if you commit to the boundaries.

executive management gets too focused on what happens next quarter without looking farther down the road. not very transparent with folks on the front lines. you can move from group to group and function to function, but in the last 3 years, upward mobility has become much harder to find.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

stop with the it's my toy and I can do whatever I want with it. it is everyone's toy. get everyone involved and committed by including them and not threatening them (LRC, FMP, ...) and give some of the money that is in the "contracts" of exec's to the folks on the front line.
