I worked at Aviation Technical Services full-time (More than a year)

The company is growing, which creates good possibilities for career growth within aerospace. It's employee-owned, has plenty of parking (compared to Boeing next-door), holidays are flexible, and there's a relatively high limit on vacation hour accrual before needing to "use or lose" hours. Management in Integration department is great.

Clock-in, clock-out system for engineering, and benefits are relatively weak in comparison to other companies. PTO covers vacation and sick time, but takes a minimum of 3 months before it begins to accrue after being hired. Other benefits like medical are also subject to the same 3-month waiting period. Personal contribution to medical is a little high.

    Advice to Management

Consider doing away with the time-clock system for engineering, and allow everyone to charge time on their own. The time clock won't be as accurate as it could be if everyone needs to have a lead fix their time when there's a problem.
