    Positive Outlook

I worked at BNY Mellon as an intern (Less than a year)

At the centre of banking and finance so great exposure if learning is what you want. Great many characters from many different backgrounds.

Getting pigeon hold can be quite easy. So it is important to always ask. Internal mobility is possible but can be quite tough. Team based approach though which makes it at times hard to interact with anyone else who isn't part of your team on a daily basis. The work can be boring if you aren't into it.

    Advice to Management

Interact better with the underlings and try to make it less corporate. Appearances play a large part in your success which isn't always the best thing.
