I worked at Badger Daylighting full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

There are very few. Pay is decent but they are paying you for a reason. Proprietary equipment is good but others are catching up fast and in some cases may have surpassed their technology.

    Cons

Turn over, turn over, turn over at all levels. Operators are not paid salary, unless you can keep every unit working every day they quit. Keeping them working daily is impossible every day. It is all depends on contracts and you are only as good as the next deal you can win. Company does not provide very good training. They think a introduction after a week you should be able to go out and be a subject matter expert and set the world on fire. Then if you don't they walk in and fire you. Don't ask for help with the company. They tell you if you need anything ask. When you do your viewed as incompetent. The locations are run down and normally in bad areas because the company will not spend money for suitable business locations. It's about their beloved trucks and that's all. Use this to fill gaps in jobs but don't count on a long term career with this company. They are more concerned about propping up the stock price than running a successful company.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Review your training and how your senior management interacts with others. You once had a great product and company. You have destroyed it over the last 2 years. Consider why that is taking place. Knee jerk reactions and firing people at the drop of a hat make the hostile work environment a terrible place to work. Open your eyes and see what is going on. Or if you choose keep them closed and let the competition continue to take market share.
