The company culture is nice and the people are generally pretty friendly.

Hourly employees get 2% raises each year and that's it. You're given some song and dance about how your benefits package is part of your overall pay, but that doesn't answer the question of how you take home pay stays the same from year to year while the cost of living increases. There is also very little organizational structure and who reports to whom is never clear, especially when it comes time for reviews. If you're toward the end of your career and want a place to coast until retirement, Baker is perfect. For anyone under 55 who wants to be upwardly mobile, steer clear.
