    Pros

The benefits and salary are great. Opportunities for promotion are good.

    Cons

If you are working for a Countrywide trained manager, chances are they don't know how to manage people. Bank of America has a great deal of red tape and bureaucracy like any other over-sized company.

    Advice to Management

Employees need to be treated as individuals instead of trying to mold them into identical robots. This specifically refers to the management style of those managers that were assimilated from Countrywide. They need to learn to assess their employees strengths and weaknesses, and then use the strengths while gently strengthening the weaknesses, instead of trying to force all employees in their domain into the same mold, doing exactly the same thing, in exactly the same way.
