I have been working at Bank of America full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Great health insurance, good salaries, and more vacation, sick, and personal time than any other company that I (or any of my friends) have worked for. If you want to volunteer, there are coordinated activities. if you want to learn, there is tuition reimbursement as well as a variety of computer based learning courses available. There are also advancement opportunities if you're willing to take the extra step.

    Cons

This is contradictory to the "official" values, but upper management appears to be deaf to the needs of the people on the ground floor, and it seems like each team is trying so hard to shine that they're unwilling to work together. "Too many cooks in the kitchen" sums up every project, large and small, and the results of each project and meeting is a change to the current base of knowledge for the department. This leads to a fluid structure and it's hard to tell day-to-day what information is still accurate.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

It would be fantastic if, "What can I do to help?" was sincere, and if feedback (especially feedback supported by facts, and provided by multiple associates) was acted upon. Delineate responsibilities, and hold teams accountable for those responsibilities.
