    Pros

If you are just starting off your career and you have no other options this is a good company to work for until something better comes along.

    Cons

Lots of micro management by inept managers. Management tends to promote the lower performing brown nosers since they are confident those people wont out perform them. There is a buddy system mentality and you will be punished or fired for doing things that you were never trained were incorrect. Its difficult to help customers due to the antiquated computer systems they have in place and the ineptitude of your peers. Much of the negative press is correct about BOA and is only that much worse if you were to see it from the inside. Management is reactionary in its way of running the company and tends to not want to make changes until they are caught with their pants down.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

They need to remove a majority of the upper management that is currently in place with people who know what they are doing. They also need to invest in the info structure of the company with better more intuitive computer systems that will allow associates from multiple departments to help customers more effectively rather than giving them the run around and having them stay on hold and transferred to the incorrect sections of the company. They also need to pay their employees a more competitive salary.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
    No opinion of CEO
