I worked at Bankers Life as a contractor (more than a year)

Flexible work schedule, varied tasks, awesome prizes and trips, great people to work with, long standing company with good policies, and the ability to control your outcomes.

Commission only, long hours of work 6.5 days a week starting out, travel (2500+ miles every 2 weeks), ditzy home office staff, no benefits, and must meet quotas.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Beta test software before putting it out for agents to use. And when putting it out, make sure it can actually be used on the technology agents have (e.g. Windows 8 home edition). Also, make sure home office staff are experienced in products and procedures BEFORE they are turned loose in the call center.
