I worked at Bath & Body Works part-time (less than an year)

It was a pretty easy job to get into. The other employees were insanely nice, and very helpful. They'll give you jobs that actually fit what you're good at, and it was rather easy to pick up on what you're supposed to do. Even if you're shy, it's actually pretty easy to talk to the customers.

I wasn't too fond of being told to basically shove product down the customers' throats. I know as a customer at the store, I would get a little annoyed at the employees constantly trying to guide me to every little bit of product when I just wanted to look around. I preferred, while working there, to ask if the customer knew what they wanted, if they wanted help, etc. And that's not how B&BW likes to do it. I wasn't trained properly on the cash register (but thankfully I only had to work it twice). Also, they expect you to do a 20-30 minute job by yourself in less than 15 minutes, even when the store is completely packed and hard to move around in.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

There could have been a bit more training. I only had basic knowledge of the cash register, and I wasn't too fond of getting annoyed looks when I had to ask for help.
