I worked at Bealls part-time (less than an year)Pros
The customers were great.
I enjoyed 2 of my coworkers.Cons
-The manager was very unprofessional.
-The manager played the "favorites" game. I did not play into it so I was taken completely off of the schedule.
-If you don't kiss butt and fake with the supervisors or the manager prepare to be eliminated. You being a good worker means NOTHING here.
-The crew consists of all females....not one male. So if you choose to work at this particular Bealls be prepared to deal with gossip, back-stabbing, and tons of attitude.
-90% of the workers there are supervisors. Sales associates frequently quit or get fired for personal reasons.
-Supervisors stretched the rules and went against store policy many times.
-The manager can just NOT show up anytime she pleases.
-Literally felt like high school with all of the drama.
-The cash registers are extremely old. They don't even have a debit option
-Supervisors can go in and out of your registers as they please WITHOUT counting the money they've taken out in front of you....If money comes up missing prepare to be blamed for it.
-All supervisors at this particular store with the exception of 2 are lazy.
Possibly the worst job I've ever had in my life.Advice to ManagementAdvice
