I have been working at Bed Bath & Beyond

    Pros

The salary is good. There are some great people that work here. You have the flexability to make the dapartment your own.

    Cons

HR is VERY inconsistant. The Human Resource manager has about 10-12 stores to service so they expect the operations manager to address HR at the stores, but the problem is they don't train them. Do NOT ever compain to the district staff or your career will cease. They want yes men. They do not want to hear any negative things even though they claim to have a open door policy. You will work an unGodly amount of hours, even though you are schuduled for 45 hours, it is not what is expected. You need to work at least 60 hours just to get your job done.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be more consistant. Don't backstab your associates and managers.
