    I worked at Behringer Harvard Holdings full-time (more than 3 years)


    It's hard to consider the positives when the negatives/cons are so glaringly obvious and fundamental. Fix the negatives and then people can begin to see the positives more clearly.


    Older (age) employees are jealous and will try and backstab younger employees who are in a more senior role because of jealousy. They feel threatened and think they deserve a more senior job because they're "older."

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Don't tell someone one thing and do the opposite without warning. Senior management needs to lead by example and not focus only on themselves. Also, if you tell someone they have the authority that comes with a job then give it to the person and not second guess the person. You (senior management) hired the person for a reason so put your trust and faith in them. That is called leading by example, keeping employee morale high by believing in them, employee retention, and ultimately organic growth and company success. Also, management needs to not throw truly great people under the bus so quickly and allow the dysfunctional ones survive.
