    I worked at Bell Canada

Bell is a great place to work to develop your leadership skills and experience in a large corporate culture with complexity and significant politics. It is also an excellent training ground to learn about the Canadian telecommunications sector as it the largest service provider in Canada. They are competitive from a compensation perspective.

Culturally it is a very difficult environment to be successful in and to progress your career. The leadership teams do not reward strong performance and execution, they promote and hire there peers from other companies. It is a highly political environment which is not conducive to strong teams or collaboration. It is impossible to achieve success from a performance perspective as objectives are absolutely never achievable.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Set more realistic stretch objectives and start promoting from within.
