I worked at Berry Plastics Group full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Large company support in terms of equipment and supplies. I made a good salary while there and was able to sign up for overtime almost always when I wanted it.

    Cons

With being a part of a large corporation, some decisions came from outside of the plant that didn't always seem to be in line with what made sense on the ground. The plant was 24/7 and looked grimy from top to bottom. The offices were as dirty as the equipment - the different shifts were against each other and didn't work together at all.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Work towards shift to shift harmony so that there isn't so much disdain between the members of each shift. When you are there for 12 hours at a time, the last 2 should be working on leaving the plant ready for the next shift to take over.
