It is a great place to spur personal and social growth, as you meet many interesting customers and co-workers. You also learn about new technology and stay ahead of the curve, due to the constant influx of new products. The discount is also great on many items.

The leadership, both in-store and company-wide, shows a strong disconnect from what actually happens on the line-level. Corporate is often changing policies to better fit their agenda without thinking about how it will affect those of us that work on the store-level. The sales floor also often gets special treatment and benefits, that the rest of the store (warehouse, Geeksquad, and asset protection) aren't privy to.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Listen more closely to the floor-level employees as they are the ones who have to deal with the fallout caused by corporate-level and in-store management decisions. Also, do a better job encouraging the behind-the-scenes workers such as the warehouse team via the occasional nice remark, kick-back etc. The amount of micromanagement is also absolutely horrid in-store. Work on treating your employees like capable adults, until their behavior proves otherwise.
