I have been working at Bethel University full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Bethel like mentioned below does have some great people working there. The dining center is one of the best I have ever been at. The benefits are great here.

    Cons

Lack of pay. Most people work at Bethel not for the pay but for a great work environment. Unfortunately that has changed and a ton of people have left Bethel. They are replaced with cheap and inefficient labor. The values of Bethel have gone downhill and hopefully they can right the ship. The department I work in is like a bad episode of seinfeld and I cannot wait to get out of Bethel like all of the others. The stuff that happens here is mind blowing.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Like mentioned on another review senior management is clueless when it comes to what is happening under them. The covenant is not being followed and personally I think the work environment is pretty toxic. I saw a Bethel Employee drinking hard cider during a job one day. Very political place to work where favorites and nepotism reigns.
